ARTUAE Participates in ‘Ideas Changing the World’ by Nobel Museum at Burj Khalifa

ARTUAE was honored to be part of Ideas Changing the World, a prestigious exhibition by the Nobel Museum, organized by the HH Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Foundation. The event took place at Annexe, Burj Khalifa, from March 20 to April 30, 2015, celebrating groundbreaking ideas that have transformed humanity.

The exhibition, a first of its kind in the region, highlighted innovative contributions across various fields, inspired by Nobel Prize-winning achievements. ARTUAE, known for its commitment to fostering art and culture in the UAE, contributed to this initiative by showcasing artworks that reflected innovation, creativity, and intellectual discourse.

ARTUAE Participates in the Prestigious Van Gogh Museum Relievo Exhibition in Dubai

Dubai became the third city in the world, and the first in the region, to host the prestigious Van Gogh Museum Relievo exhibition at Fairmont The Palm in February 2015. ARTUAE proudly participated in this landmark event, which showcased limited-edition 3D reproductions of Vincent Van Gogh’s most iconic paintings.

Hosted by Vincent Willem van Gogh, the artist’s great-grandnephew, and Van Gogh Museum Director Axel Rüger, the exhibition featured nine masterpieces, including Sunflowers (1889), Wheat Fields Under Thunder Clouds (1890), and The Harvest (1888). Each artwork was reproduced using an innovative 3D scanning and printing technique developed in collaboration with Fujifilm Belgium, replicating Van Gogh’s signature thick brushstrokes and impasto textures.

With each of the 260 reproductions priced at AED 125,000, this exhibition marked the 125th anniversary of Van Gogh’s passing and reinforced Dubai’s status as a major global art destination. Dubai International Arabic Calligraphy Exhibition - A Celebration of Art & Culture

The Dubai International Arabic Calligraphy Exhibition, held at Wafi Mall on April 15, 2015, was an extraordinary celebration of Arabic calligraphy, bringing together renowned artists, culture enthusiasts, and key figures from the UAE's cultural scene. The event was inaugurated by H.E. AbdulRahman Bin Mohammed Al Owais, the UAE Minister of Health & Prevention, and was attended by distinguished guests including Saeed Al Naboodah, Director of Dubai Culture, Rafia Sultan Al Suwaidi, Director of Dubai Culture, and Abdul Qader Al Rais, a leading calligraphy artist.

The exhibition served as a platform for showcasing the timeless beauty of Arabic script through the works of talented calligraphers. It featured stunning pieces that celebrate the rich heritage and artistic expressions of the Arabic language.

Dubai Photo Exhibition

Held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Hamdan Bin Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Crown Prince of Dubai, the Dubai Photo Exhibition launched in March 2016 as an unprecedented international photography showcase. Organized by the Hamdan Bin Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum International Photography Award (HIPA), this event aimed to foster global dialogue about photography, transcending boundaries of form, technique, and geographic region.

The exhibition brought together 18 curators who presented museum-quality works from 23 countries, offering a unique global perspective on the art of photography. The showcase celebrated both contemporary works and the grand masters of the 20th century, highlighting the diversity and harmony within the world of photography. The exhibition became a seamless visual experience, spotlighting influences that define the art form across regions and generations.

World Pen Show Inaugurated by H.H. Sheikh Hasher Al Maktoum: Celebrating the Art of Writing

The World Pen Show, a prestigious international event dedicated to the art of fine writing instruments, was inaugurated by H.H. Sheikh Hasher Al Maktoum, a prominent figure in Dubai's cultural and business landscape. This remarkable showcase, which brought together pen enthusiasts, collectors, and artists from around the world, was designed to celebrate the craftsmanship and timeless elegance of fine pens.

Held at a unique venue that drew attention for its stunning array of luxury and bespoke writing instruments, the World Pen Show allowed attendees to explore an extensive collection of pens, from iconic global brands to custom-made masterpieces. French luxury brand Moynat, renowned for its legacy in premium leather goods and travel trunks, has unveiled its newest flagship store at the iconic Dubai Mall, marking the brand’s entry into a major new market. The opening was celebrated with a grand event, attended by key figures, including Sathar Al Karan, Founder of ART UAE, and Richard Boyd Lindsay, who both participated in the exclusive launch.

The new store’s design is a beautiful reflection of Moynat’s Parisian heritage, featuring symmetrical glass windows framed with gold detailing and an elegant, minimalist interior that exudes warmth through its wooden shelves and carefully curated selection of luxury trunks and handbags. Staying true to its roots, Moynat offers a timeless shopping experience that captures the essence of French craftsmanship and style.

Guillaume Davin, president of the brand, emphasized that Dubai was one of the select global locations for a Moynat flagship, sharing that the brand had always envisioned a presence in no more than 10 to 12 cities worldwide. Dubai’s prestigious retail scene was therefore a natural choice for the French luxury label. The Dubai store follows Moynat’s successful flagship on Madison Avenue in New York, which opened just two years ago, continuing the brand's strategy of expanding only in the most exclusive markets.
